List of Requirements

1. No minimum age requirement

2. Be a member in good standing

3. Be of sound moral character

4. Have the agreement of your personal instructor to attend assessments

5. Fulfil requirements specified in the current Federation DAN Member Manual

6. Attended a majority of the Senior Rank Advancement Classes

7. Complete the questionnaire (Part 2)  from the Technical Advisory Committee

8. Submit a complete application packet and other required items to Headquarters before published deadlines

   • Application For Dan Rank Promotion Part 1 & 2

   • Essays “My commitment to the federation and the value I can bring as a Master”  - 4th Dan

   • Moo Do Kwan Master Study Guide

   • Consent to Publish form

   • Any paperwork, projects, videos, etc. required by the Technical Advisory Committee

   • Fees Paid (Fees NOT include all accommodation and subsistence costs) £400

   • Photo in Do Bok Top half with White background saved as a jpeg

9. Successfully complete examination by Technical Advisory Committee at the annual Ko Dan Ja Shim Sa event.
